You are a wonderful gift from God to this world, choosing what defines you as a person is very important. Choosing God to be a part of your life is the first and most important choice to make. Secondly you need to decide how the world will see you. Will you be Jesus-like or against the teachings of the church? Will you be compassionate towards those around you or angry at the way the world is treating you? How will you react to situations which arise in your life? God predetermined your destiny, it is you who chooses what makes you who you are.
Choosing to live a life of Christianity may seem to be against the grain of what your friends are doing; you may feel uneasy, questioning yourself. Self doubt is one of the biggest destroyers of faith and can lead directly down a path of destruction. Getting lost in the downfall of society we may make wrong decisions. The further we travel down the wrong road we widen the gap between Christianity and leading a life of suffering. Standing up for your faith in situations where God is the only right answer is choosing what defines you as a Christian.
Being in the limelight as a teenager may seem appealing, however standing back in the shadows watching the ways of the world gives you the opportunity to see life as it is. Wearing the latest fashions and excessive make-up just to fit in may not be the right choice, however if you are wearing fashionable clothing and make-up for yourself then it makes a difference. If you choose to satisfy the needs of society you are choosing to make the wrong statement. When you do things that make you feel good and express yourself then you are doing them for the right reasons. The minute you start to wear make-up just to fit into a certain crowd you need to evaluate if this is the choice you want to make.
God created us to be ourselves. Even though society shapes and molds our thinking we are fully capable of making our own choices. God wants you to be unique. He wants you to have friends. He wants you to be happy. God chose you to be with Him; it is up to you to choose Him and His way. Don’t be afraid to ask for direction from those who are in authority over your life. Parents, pastors, teachers and family members are all here to help you make the right choices, however you are the finally answer to the call. What you choose to define you will take you either closer or farther away from your destiny.
In the end the only person you will have to answer to is God, make this your life statement. When non-Christians question why you are doing deeds for God in your life be honest with them. Show others how great our God is by the good works we do. Be compassionate to others and lead by example. God will always be beside you to help guide your ways. Make the right choices, God will reward you. Prepare yourself for people who will try to steer you in the wrong direction. Show others your devotion to make right choices. Define who you are to the world. Only you can make your destiny a reality. Go forth and define yourself, society needs a wake-up call. You have be chosen by God to help fulfill His plan.

One idea: Perhaps if you shared a personal story or funny example to get your point across, it might keep a teen's interest even better. We want them to read your message!
There are many creative ways to get the message across in an engaging way. Tell a story, give your testimony, write a skit perhaps?
May need to proofread it before you publish - but we're all guilty of that. :-|
