This new life sets us off on a Christian journey which will cause us to pass through many contrasting and difficult circumstances of life. Certainly this is not a life for the faint hearted and requires a depth of character God himself must implant.
God the Holy Spirit is our schoolmaster and he teaches us the lessons of the Christian life. Of course, he uses many ways to assist us to grow into maturity. He takes us from the milk and weans us, so that we can eventually digest the stronger stuff.
Our temporary home here on earth is used by God to prepare us, so that one day we will reach our final and real abode in heaven. In our travels through life we need to take as many others with us; to that better homestead.
In the meantime, we are all part of the family firm and causing the Boss completely different problems - and benefits! As Jesus’ siblings, and, as he has been around for ever, we have a lot to learn from our Elder Brother. He knows his trade and we need to learn it from him.
Father has even set on a Foreman to come along side us; to help us understand our trade. The precious Holy Spirit is very patient with us and if we cut ourselves whilst using the tools – he will heal our wounds.
As part of God’s new family we have a promise that we shall never die. Our start never ends but goes on forever. Death is no more than a door to a better life and hopefully to get a pat on the back for learning our job well. I do believe our final pay packet is based on results and not many will receive a bonus.
Yet the reward far exceeds our faltering efforts. To spend time with Jesus is the greatest reward and we can never really earn that, even if we served him for all eternity. Just enjoy being a child of God and by his grace do your best. See you someday, Bye.

I felt that the first half of this piece perhaps lacked a bit of focus, but it really began to solidify in the last 4 paragraphs.
Your writing is frank and easy to read--nicely done.
