My husband of ten years walked out leaving my alone to care and provide for two children with special needs. How do you even begin a career when one of your sons requires an institutional level of care and you alone are left to provide that care?
The answer is easy to give but not so easy to receive -- God will provide a way!
Family members turned a blind eye to severe circumstances which left me feeling hopelessly orphaned. When I couldn't see a way out or up, God brought volunteers forward to care for us. Friends, neighbors, and even complete strangers adopted us. I have experienced "God moments" within interactions that lasted only minutes but provided life long results due to generous spirits who volunteered to serve as Christ served.
As a result, I am reminded that my children and I are cherished, valued, wanted, and most of all -- Loved!
