Topic: Valley (08/10/06)
“Yea, though I walk through
the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil; For you are with me;
Your rod and your staff
they comfort me. Psalm 23:4

We walk through this valley every day of our lives.
For we know not which day will be our last.
.
We are in this life full uncertainties, tragedies, miseries.
But have no fear, though the eye cannot see,
Heaven is near.

Inside your spirit is the power to be free.
The Lord is there waiting to comfort you with His peace.

Open your heart and you will feel a love so deep,
It will give you the strength to see beyond this valley.
To a place where our souls will finally be restored.
Where we will forever dwell in the house of the Lord.

When your heart is filled with pain,
Close your eyes and let Him lead you beside the still waters.
His love is surrounding you,
Let your burdens drift away.

Though this life is full of troubles,
Goodness and mercy are of the Lord.
He will lead us in the paths of righteousness,
For He is there waiting to be our reward.

I like this update on the 23rd Psalm.

Sometimes you write from the "you" POV, and sometimes from the "we" or "us." It might be more effective if you stayed consistent.

Heartfelt sentiments...thanks.
