Overall, I think this is a good piece. You did a very good job of describing her emotions--anger, dispair--and while I might've enjoyed hearing more about how she brought herself out of it, I still think that it stands well as is. You also had some very nice phrases, like, "Vision is the art of seeing something invisible."

Good job.
You have done a nice job of writing the emotions that many women feel. Unfortunately, friends do betray. Betrayal of those closest to you is sometimes the most difficult to forgive. If this is a true story I pray forgiveness has taken place. You have written a story that many need to read, either for self or to understand what family or friends are going through! Thanks for sharing. Maryolyn Payne

This is heartbreaking but inspiring. And to think you could have killed two birds with one stone...seeing how this weeks challenge is Valley!

This was moving. I was expecting a Scripture verse at the end. The story seems like part of something bigger. Perhaps you will write more on this? It could be a great story of conversion or forgiveness or both. Good work.
