THE PROSPERITY OF LOVE
Guess what? I'm a Grandma. Guess what again? I'm a Great-Grandma. As I ponder the
importance of being a Grandma, I realize that besides the joy I have, I gave my mother the joy
of being a Grandma, the joy of being a Great-Grandma, and the joy of being a Great-Great-
Grandma. The other wonderful thing I have done is make it possible for my daughter to become
a Grandma. Wow, all of this joy from one child and it shall follow suit in her life.
It was a two sided love abounding with my Grannie Annie, she loved me as much as I loved
her. The prosperity of that love shared fills my life to this very day, even though she is not with
me today that love will never die. The imprinting she made on my life has taken on the goodness
of her era and has blended it with the present, which has uniquely made me who and what I am.
Grannie Annie helped birth a love for hurting humanity within my heart which caused me to
take on the challenge of becoming a medical doctor. I have had the ultimate experience of
delivering many babies and grand-babies. That love has been exhilarated to great heights at
each birth. The energy that is expelled around each one bonds mother and child beyond words.
Love seals a union forever and that prosperity unfolds in each life and produces the uniqueness
of a love that, in spite of loss, will never die though life does. Love is like a field of beautiful
wild flowers. It seeds, spreads, and makes a field of beautiful colors, aroma, and beauty that
is unsurpassed. Love prospers from day to day, season to season, and year to year. Love is
a prosperity that will make our world turn around.

Your story was short and sweet. It was so warming. I would have named it Grannie Annie, but that's just me. Wonderful! Keep up the great writing!

This is very good! No one else took quite this approach, and your originality is appreciated. That's why I'd omit the last sentence, I think--it's too close to the familiar saying "love makes the world go 'round" and doesn't live up to the sparkle of the rest of the piece.

Just cruising old challenges. I have to agree with this one. I sometimes wonder if we should rework some of these old ideas and make them into articles. This one could really be a blessing if expounded on. By the way, I'm a great-granny too.
