Why Are You So Mindful Of Man?



Without you I can't exist

I'm mere vapour, only mist

So I can't understand

Why are you so mindful of man?



You're very grace is a gift

And the breath of life you permit

As Almighty God alone you stand

So why are you so mindful of man?



To your stature I can't add a thing

All by yourself you are the only King

Still you reached out and took my hand

But why are you so mindful of man?



Even when I do wrong in your eyes

Your compassion still enters my life

For me you have great plans

Still why are you so mindful of man?



I'll be caught up in your rapture

And all my suffering will no longer matter

I am yours to command

I'm so thankful that you're mindful of man

Nice job — you asked a question I often ask myself. One little detail, this "You're" should be "your". But well done. Congratulations.

What a beautiful poem!!! It speaks to me in all ways. We all take for granted how wonderful God is, and that he doesn't have any obligation to do all that he does for us. Well Done!!
