begotten Son that whosoever believes in Him should not perish
but have ever lasting life. God is Love.
What are the benefits of God's Love?
The Message Bible says it like this in Psalms 103
He forgives your sins—every one.
He heals your diseases—every one.
He redeems you from hell—saves your life.
He crowns you with love and mercy—a paradise crown.
He wraps you in goodness—beauty eternal.
He renews your youth—you're always young in his presence.
Jesus proved His love by laying down His life for you. How
can you show your love for Him? By loving those around you,
even when they are not loveable. The people Jesus came in
contact with here on this earth were not all loveable, and
even that example of human narrow mindedness did not keep
him off the cross.
(John 15:12-13 KJV) "This is my commandment, that you love one
another, as I have loved you." We read this, nod our head in
agreement and go home and forget to show love to those in the
same house with us. You show love by the tone of your voice,
by the expression on your face. The little things tell the
story. The love you show others will be returned to you.
The self, focus of today's culture keeps people thinking
only about their own pleasures, needs and desires. It is like
gravity, continually pulling people inward toward themselves.
To break this influence people must first be aware it exists.
Awareness must be transformed into desire to change.
This transformation comes by the revelation of God's love.
Love is what caused Jesus to leave heaven and all it's
splendor, coming to earth as a baby to grow up here with all
the problems of the world: a world full of sick, hateful,
troubled, and suffering people. It was love that caused him
to endure the suffering, the rejection, agony, and torment
of the cross. All the angels of heaven were watching and
waiting for him to call out for their help. Instead, he died
just for you, so you could have a better life here on this earth,
and know all the benefits of God's kingdom.
The followers of Christ are responsible for God's work
getting done in this world. Are you doing your job or are you
wondering why the tools God left you are not working?
Could the lack of Love be the problem? Plug in to
God and recharge your Love Power. You must decide to Love
no matter how you feel, or how unlovely the people are. If
you are born again you were born into the love nature of God.
(1John 4:7,8,11 KJV)"Beloved let us love one another, for
Love is of God; and everyone who loves is born of God and
knows God. He who loveth not knoweth not God; for God is love.
Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another."
You have the ability to love. Just do it! Choose to make your
flesh and mind obey your spirit and walk in love. Forgive, over
& over if need be. Jesus told the disciples to forgive the same
person seventy times seven times or 490 times.(Matt.18:21-22KJV)
Speak blessings on & give blessings to those who attack you.
This is the fastest way to put Satan in his place. For it is he
that is the root of the problem and unless you take care of the
root, the problem will keep coming back just like a weed in the
garden.Think about the first commandment of God.(Mark12:30-31KJV)
thou shall love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, with all
thy soul, with all, thy mind, and with all thy strength…
The second is like it, thou shall love thy neighbor as thy self.
There is none greater than these.
Make this a pledge to God each day until it is real in your life.
