I have so very much to be thankful for: my life, my salvation through Jesus Christ, my Christian husband, parents, brothers, sisters-in-law, my three children and the fact that they have all asked Jesus to be their Lord, a wonderful church family, a nice home, my husband's job,my sustitutiing job, our health,friends. . .Thank you, Lord so much for blessing me. I do praise You with all my heart.
Dear Lord, I repent of my selfish anxiety, withdrawal from You, and bouts of depression. I am a Christian. I want to be a reflection of Your joy, love and peace. I have had some disappointments in the last month, but I know that You are asking me to wait purposefully in Your waiting room, while You teach me. I acknowledge Your presence in my life. I realize that I am sinning when I just lay down and let anxiety consume my mind, heart and body.
In Matthew 26:14 . You were praying before You went to the cross. You asked the disciples to pray, too. You came back and found them sleeping. You (Jesus) said, "Watch and pray, lest you enter into temptation. The spirit indeed is willing, but the flesh is weak." Matthew 26:14 NKJV
I can relate to that verse. Sometimes, I just want to crawl under the covers. Then, I waste so much precious time. I know I need to spend my time praying and drawing near to You, and serving You, by serving my family and others.
I do trust in You with all my heart. I will not lean on my own understanding; In all my ways, I acknowledge You, and I know You direct my paths. Proverbs 3:5-6 NKJV
Dear Lord, I thank You so much for my loving, Christian husband. Please bless him today. Please help me to be a blessing to him.
I thank You for each of our children and pray your blessing on them, and everyting they do today.
I thank you for all of our family members, and pray for each of them.
Dear Lord, I pray you will bless me physically, emotionally and spirtitually today. Please equip me to do all that You desire me to do. Dear Lord, it is my prayer that you will say to me,
"Well done, good and faithful servant; you were faithful over a few things. I will make you ruler over many things. Enter into the joy of the Lord." Matthew 25:21 NKJV
