That day was the darkest day the world has seen. The vines sat upon his head thorns hanging off of them. The blood that dripped down flowed to the ground. With each drip the world saw more sin disappear. HE had once said, “I am the vine and you are the branches." Now this vine was bleeding for the world. His blood was pumping and those vines soon were dyed red. His fate had been written before the world had been made. Jesus Christ of Nazareth was his name. Hanging on the cross wasn’t the last thing he had to do though. After being cut the vine grew again rising from the dust. The only branches to be cut and thrown into the fire are the ones producing no fruit. Jesus rose in three days fulfilling all of the prophecies just as he promised. His fruit will always give us life producing fruit everyday for all eternity. And as he promised he will come back for his children when the world comes to an end.
