In the Word (Rom. 12:3, KJV) it says that God has given us each a measure of faith. But what is a measure? I’m guessing that God’s way of measuring our faith is nothing like what we think it is, and furthermore, if we knew what that measure consisted of, we’d have all the faith we needed.
Then comes the question, if we know what a measure is, what do we do with it? Do we use it to believe for all the things we are praying for, or do we use this faith to believe for others?
I think it would be great if the Lord would just give it to us in a recipe form along with all the other ingredients to make the perfect Christian say:
3 Cups of Faith
2 cups of Courage
1 cup of Knowledge of the Word of God
½ cup Discernment
¾ cup Wisdom
¼ cup Humility
Mix all ingredients together thoroughly. Add 3 pounds of Love and a pinch of Salt. Test it by fire for Purity and send them out to conquer the world for God.
