Do you remember the song, rain, rain; go away, come back another day.
Well I am sure a lot of the people in Louisiana have been singing this song. What it must be like to be in up to your waste in water and never seeing the end of it coming down. Could you imagine the feeling of loosing control? That is what happens when “acts of God” occur. We are not in control and therefore no matter how hard we try to scream and yell, the Lord continues to do what He came to do.
Sometimes I think about it, the end, that is. Will we be consumed by fire? Will everything the bible says come true, earthquakes, floods, wars? I think so, many other items listed are happening right now. So, it is time to stand guard and to watch for the signs, the end of times.
I am actually excited about this time. I know that the Lord has brought me here for such a time as this. He will be using me in a mighty way, through all the scary times of tribulation. The exciting thing about this is that I get to be with Him in all His glory, Hallelujah.
So the rain may not stay or go away on our command alone, but we can pray for those in need and realize that the Lord is always listening.

Be careful of waste / waist and loose / lose. Although, come to think of it, some of those people were up to their waist in waste! Yuck!
