She threw her bag on her arm, grabbed her keys and ran out the door. She whipped into the car seat and started the car, and put the gas pedal on the floor. It was 9 pm and she was worried that the school would be locked.
"Dear Jesus, please help me get into school. I can’t fail this quiz tomorrow. Please let there be somebody to let me in. I need you Jesus, please help me."
She arrived at school shortly before 9:15 and tried a couple of doors. Ariel then went to the loading dock, and noticed a light that was on through a window. There was a man that was, behind a desk, in the office. She tried the door that was next to the window, it was locked. Then she pounded on the window, the man saw her and went to the door.
A grey harried mad with a beard opened the door, "Can I help you?"
She started to cry, "I'm Ariel, I go to school here, I forgot my handout for my meteorology class. I have a quiz on Tornados tomorrow. I really need it, I can’t afford to fail. Please let me go to my locker, please, sir, please."
"I'm sorry there is no way I can let you into school. You will have to wait until morning."
Ariel folded her hands as if she was going to pray and held them up by her face. "Please sir, I can't fail my quiz, I need the handout."
"If it were up to me, I would let you get it, but I have rules to follow. You can't be in school alone."
"What if you followed me to my locker? I really need my handout."
The old man huffed, "Okay, I guess that would be alright, I was young once myself."
"Thank you sir, you’re an answer to prayer," as Ariel went to her locker and got her papers.
