I can see it in the distant horizon, but I cannot quite make it out. There seems to be a darkness around it with a shadow of light. I cannot understand why, but it draws me. Closer and closer I come. It speaks to my heart, my soul, my inner being, as nothing has ever done before.

I hesitate.

Everything within me desires to know what it is. The longer I look, the darkness dissipates and I begin to see a glimmer of light. I am drawn even more to it and begin to slowly walk toward it. As I walk, my stride widens and my pace begins to increase as the light begins to shine brighter.

I am no longer walking; I am now running to it.

The light draws me and I hear my name. I stop dead in my tracks and listen to the voice. The voice calls me to come nearer. It is a small voice, yet it dominates my soul. It takes hold of me and I am compelled to draw near.

I cannot resist the call. The call inspires me to write of His goodness and His love; to tell of His peace and His joy. It calls me to share His sacrifice for all. The call inspires me to live – forever.
