My only wish at that moment was to hear my baby cry. To have the privilege to hold him in my arms. To let him know that momma loves him. But I guess, that opportunity is now gone. As the tears still ring in my heart!
The sound of my baby calling me mom. Or to hear him say “I Love You, Mommy!” Those are only things I wish that I could hear. Even if it was only for one more day.
Even as the sadness filters my heart, I am reminded of God’s love toward us. His is the same kind of love that a mother has for his child. Wanting to cradle His child in His arms and hear them saying “I Love You daddy!” Those are the things He longs to hear from us.
He wants for us to be happy and for us to be o.k. But more than that He wants for us to let Him live in our hearts. Many of us, have Him waiting outside the door of our heart wanting Him to come in but we can’t. He can not because we haven’t accepted Him to come into our lives. Once we accept Him as our Savior and Lord then and only then can the door of our heart be opened.
Once our Lord is in our lives, he can cradle you like a baby. Because, we are all babies when we first accept Him into our hearts. He has become our Father and wants to guide us. He wants to direct us into the steps we must first take like any mother would do with their child.
Once they have had a long term relationship with the Lord, He will then like a child let you go gently on your own. It is then that we have been thrown out from underneath His hands. The hands that have cradle us from the time we have accepted Him. To where we are today!
He will help us in those dark moments of our lives. Those moments like mine when I lost my baby. He will help us to make sense of things and understand the plan He has for us. Even then at times we may not be able to understand why it is the way it is. But hold on to your Father’s hands, cause He will keep you safe beside Him.
He will help you to find forgiveness in your heart. Even though it may be breaking into a thousand pieces. As I know my heart did. God will always find favor in those whom love Him. He will always be there for you! Even as He was the day you gave your heart to Him. Just as a mother would to a child.
