When the ups and downs of life
Are taking a toll on you,
Remember Christ our Saviour
Went through all this too.
When your life is a roller coaster
Of thrills and scares combined,
Remember Christ is the peacemaker
The redeemer of mankind.
When you're like a yoyo
Going up and down each day,
Remember Christ can still your soul
And make calm your every way.
When the trials of life get you down
And you don't know the way up,
Remember Christ was down
Before God raised Him up.
When Satan and his angels
Lead you up the garden path,
Remember Christ will deliver
Satan's fiery aftermath.
When you're down and out
Poor as poor can be,
Remember God is the provider
Trust Him and you will see.
When you're kneeling down to pray
Or lifting hands in praise,
Remember God is faithful
He'll watch over all your days.
