Topic: Easter (05/30/05)
"I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in Me, though he may die, he shall live. John 11: 25 (NKJV)


Easter is a time of rejoicing, a time of refreshing, a time for new things to come and old things to pass away. It is a time for something to die, so something can live. Jesus died so that we may live. We must die; die to our selves so that we can have new life. God intends for us to live NOW! The work that has been don is not just for the future of our souls, but also for the time at hand. Now is the time to enjoy the fruits of the cross, now is the time to rejoice. This is the day that the Lord has made. Easter comes around once a year, but should be lived in your heart every single day. The chains of death have been unlocked, yet our stern sinister faces say other wise. Where is your joy oh believer? Have you not heard of the good news? You are free! Death has no power over you. Walk in your freedom, walk in the power of the resurrection. Don’t let the chains bound you any longer. Brake loose from them. Hold your head high. We serve a living Savior. He lives in you and me. Easter is a day of change, a day of rebirth a day of freedom. Easter it is so much more than just a once a year thing for me.

You have many wonderful thoughts in this writing. Maybe in poem form, it would give the reader time to pause and take in each idea?

Great word. If you desired a longer piece that people could connect with emotionally, you could lengthen it a bit with more thoughts and descriptions. I'd love to see what you could do creatively with this excellent word.

Very good ideas. A couple typos (I tend to read what I thought, not what I actually wrote. I find reading it outload helps me spot mine, and sometimes I still miss some lol.)
