Devising a plan is important
Or so I have been told,
But who knows what is future?
How his life unfolds?
Young men dream their dreams-
Dreams larger than life.
But as their age progresses
Oh, the truth to light!
'Tis the way to live your life-
All not gained in quick pace,
Beginning with a little,
Build upon a sound base.
We wish the world be ours...
Everything at once.
Is it youthful exuberance
Or is it arrogance?
Middle age approaches.
Dreams come undone!
Rushing about we must repair
Twenty years in one.
The ant has no ruler,
Yet builds herself a home.
You are not your fate's master.
Your fate has One Master, One!
Having learned in humility
Submission to His Will.
You will find your life imbibes
Joy only He can instill.
Begun in minutiae,
Ending in the grandiose,
Life lived to capacity is
Life with an eternal scope.
Ecclesiastes 5:7
Much dreaming and many words are meaningless. Therefore stand in awe of God.
Proverbs 6:6-8
6 Go to the ant, you sluggard; consider its ways and be wise! 7 It has no commander, no overseer or ruler, 8 yet it stores its provisions in summer and gathers its food at harvest.
NIV,Zondervan
