Difficult times won’t let me be
Angry words cut deep
I find it so hard to sleep
It’s like living in a hurricane
How’s one to remain sain
All things coming at me
I scream and yell to get free
Wild and crazy I lash out
With blood rising I boil and sprout
But things just escalate
And situations exacerbate
What was it I read yesterday?
A calm spirit eases the way!
Quarrels cease when we remain calm!
I should listen to those Proverbs and Psalms
In the eye of a hurricane there is calm they say
So, my Lord, to you I pray
I make You the centre of my frame
That my calm may remain
Now when at me comes an attack
There’s no need to fight back
I keep my peace and calm I stay
Because I let my Lord have His way

Watch out for spelling (sane) and for irregular meter. Try keeping track of stressed and unstressed syllables, and establishing a consistent pattern.
This poem has some nice imagery--well done.
