The big event is over; your new life has begun.
Before you know it you celebrate Anniversary Number One.
As you start the second year there is very little change.
With Anniversary Number Two it is pretty much the same.
Before you know it five years have passed and suddenly it’s ten.
Number Fifteen comes even faster and it is really flying by then.
When you hit twenty-five most people celebrate.
Don’t put it off; enjoy yourself, before it is too late.
This all refers to weddings but there are other anniversaries too.
The day you gave your life to Christ is more important than ‘I do’.
I don’t recall the exact day this last time I asked Jesus into my heart.
I seemed so mixed up at the time and didn’t know where to start.
It was many months later and I knew I needed so much more.
So I rededicated my life to Christ on July fourth of 2004.
This year on Independence Day is Anniversary Number One.
For that is truly the very day that my new life was begun.
Wedding anniversaries are good; I had twenty-six before he was gone.
But I wasn’t walking with the Lord and that was so very wrong.
So we can celebrate many things as the years go by.
Just don’t forget to always keep God first in your life.
