He stands back, and though only the foundation stands, He can picture its zenith. A smile forms at the curve of His mouth; the pleasure of His creation’s company already sets His heart to flame.
With a stroke of His hand, He places bone upon bone as a master carpenter would form a frame, each piece crucial to the final result. Large and small bones, medium as well, connect together to give shape to His vision.
Circling around the frame He considers His purpose for His creation. He must set things just right. The relationship of the frame to the next elements of His creation must be perfectly aligned with His vision. He ponders the future accomplishments of His work of art, choosing the ideal next layers: muscle and sinew. They bond with the frame and create substance.
Within the substance, He places systems: air, circulation, and nourishment, interwoven so skillfully that each is dependent on the other. Hand in hand they will support the frame with life.
Next, within the cranium at the top of the frame, He inserts brilliance. Gel like matter, infused with neurons, connected by axons, to synthesize thought, communication and movement, brings acumen to the creation.
Finally, as the symphony of creation builds to its crescendo the Father places a protective living casing around the frame that swathes and nurtures the other systems. He affixes color, tone and texture perfectly formulated for its function and its satisfaction.
He pauses, and even sits; pondering the spirit He will set within the frame.
Hmmm.
My creation needs to be adventurous but thoughtful, firm but kind and forgiving. He will have a passion for my Kingdom and compassion for my subjects. He will have a heart that seeks after knowledge and wisdom and a willingness to change as I lead. This creation needs to reflect my Glory. My creation I will not leave to flounder. My Spirit and his will form a union so sure that hell will not stand against it.
The Father, standing with legs firmly set, breathes deeply and infuses the creation with his very life source, His Spirit. The creation shakes, undulates and gasps as the air of life surges into him. His eyes open, a smile forms, the dawning of existence; Creator and created join. Hand in hand, they walk into eternity; the creation at peace for the Creator of infinity walks the road with him.
And, it is very good.
A masterpiece, set into time, for such a time, as this.
