I am a freelance writer and editor in the Los Angeles area with a passion for words as ministry. I am best at writing non-fiction essays, articles, devotionals, and bible studies, and I also teach and speak on Christian women's issues.
I received Jesus Christ in 1984, while a UCLA Philosophy major. My husband since 1987 is a pastor of Living By The Word Ministries (livebyword.org) here in L.A., a primarily apologetics-based church and radio ministry for which I write and edit the weekly Sunday bulletin (essays and devotionals) and a quarterly print journal. I am a columnist for Sisters In The Lord online magazine on the subject of Titus 2:3-5. My work has also appeared in Cross-Times newsletter, and I am editor of a forthcoming book, The Life Kit.
I have a passion for the truth of God's Word and applying it in everyday life, and I endeavor for my writing to invoke that passion in others, to the glory of God.
I am also vocal about protecting as many Christian women as possible from what I see is the fulfillment of 2 Timothy 3:6-7 about deceivers creeping into houses and leading gullible and sin-laden women captive. I want to be equipped myself and help other women be equipped by the Word of God and its truth so that we can live by the Word of God and its truth.
I have two wonderful step-daughters, now grown, two incredible young boys, and the most beautiful granddaughter in the world.
I am praying constantly (for 20 years now) for the salvation of my elderly grandfather (a card-carrying Socialist), my parents, and all five of my siblings and their families.
