Caught in Chicago traffic in a non-air conditioned car on a sultry summer day, I was quickly losing my cool. Open windows offered no relief for a stopped vehicle.
Just when I felt myself reaching boiling point, a fellow hapless motorist called from his car to mine in perfect accent….”pardon me, ma’am but do you have any Grey Poupon?”
His timely humor instantly evaporated my heated frustration.
