Who Am I?
The life I now live I do not call my own. It was
bought and paid for by the blood of Jesus.
A new person I became when I cried out to Him to save me from my sins.
When I started to live for Him, when I let Him into my heart, the old me passed away.
In it's place a new creature was born.
Born into a world of forgiveness and love.
Born into a world of hope and a future.
I laid this life down, surrendered totally at the feet of Jesus.
I am but as filthy rags, washed clean by
His mercy and grace.
His blood flowed freely to
save me from the pits of hell.
Who am I but an unworthy vessel?
I am clay in the hands of the Potter. Molded and
shaped into the image of Him.
Purified through fire, tested in the trials, shining with His glory, bright as the sun.
My goal, a home in Heaven, to give glory to my Lord for eternity.
My life is but a vapor, here today and gone
tomorrow.
My soul will live on forever.
Who am I but a life surrendered to the Lord, guided by His mercy and grace.
