Has brought me to my feet.
For all the years I could not stand,
They’d not admit defeat.
Though I had naught to offer
They never left my side.
They literally carried me
And wiped the tears I cried.
One day they mentioned Jesus.
They knew He’d make me walk.
They took each word He said as truth
And not just idle talk.
So sure were they that He had power
To give life to dead limbs
They lowered me through the roof that day
So I could be near Him.
And when I walked out of that house
To meet them on the street
We danced for joy, for love and faith
Had brought me to my feet.
