First I looked at the fish. I thought they were beautiful, but I wanted a fury animal that I could pet. I didn't think fish were that type of pets like to be petted or cuddled.
My friend, Haley had a dog who was friendly. Whenever I visit her, her dog always jumps up on me, and licks me.
I said, "Mom, can we get a dog?"
"No, Jane. We are not getting dog. They are too much of a responsibility. You have to take them for a walk every day, maybe more."
I felt disappointed. I didn't mind having that responsibility. As soon as my mother took me out of the pet store, I felt sad. I saw a cage in the store that had a cage of six kittens. They were cute, so I asked my mother,
"How about if we got a cat?"
My mother stopped walking for a moment, looked me in the eye sternly, and said,
"I don't know, Jane. I don't know if I want to have a responsibility of a cat either. I pleaded with my mother, and she finally that she would think about it. I loved cats. They purred, and they like to be cuddled like someone else I knew from school who had a cat.
