if hot enough, it could light up the dark.
The heat from the fire, could kill you at will,
the demon behind it may sit on the window sill.
The invisible enemy tempts us, then laughs,
ruins relationships, you do the math.
Divorce in a marriage, or guilty of a crime,
words from our lips have to stop in time.
Mostly unknowingly, we assume words of wit,
can put out the blaze, to respond from the places we sit.
But deep to the root, of the evil you must go,
casting and binding in Jesus name, slow.
As a receiver of great and damaging words,
your best bet to survive is to not think absurd.
Pray without ceasing, expect an answer in time,
let God do the work, to them that appear like slime.
The enemy is not dumb, he knows us like a book,
he can fish for souls with an enticing hook.
The enemy seeks dearly, to do us great harm,
pray angels in charge will sound the alarm.
Remember the tongue, no man can tame,
it’s truly full of poison and the blame game.
Don’t stay a victim, it’s easy to do,
trust me, God sincerely loves you.
