The path to success is to take massive determined action
- Anthony Robbins
Success is defined as the achievement of something planned or attempted. It can be viewed in a subjective or objective manner depending on the different individual’s values, cultural, educational or financial background. For some success is having a lot of money and goodies that money can buy. For some others, it is fulfilling some lifelong goals or ambition.
For some it is having a good family life and a rewarding career etc. As noble as all these things may be, God’s definition of a successful individual may be different from ours. For instance, as far as God is concerned Moses was a very successful person and a great leader. Although he did not make it to the Promised Land because of anger, he fulfilled a very unique assignment
All the apostles except one, (John the beloved) were executed for the sake of the gospel. To the people of the world and possibly some members of their family, they were not successful. To God they were extremely successful and all believers today benefit from the fruit of their success.
Apostle Paul was so sure of God‘s view point about “his achievements” that he said I have fought the good fight and a crown of life awaits me “, yet he was in prison when he made this statement.
May we all be able to take every step necessary to be successful in things that really matters to God in the mighty name of Jesus.
