Can you believe November is just over a week away? The holidays are coming faster than we can imagine – and with them, this year, another blogging contest – set to start no later than November 1!

And this one, rather than paid writing assignments, will have cash prizes – in addition to the extra exposure for your writing. AND the word limit has been increased to 600 words, per your request.

I’ve been asked to keep the actual ministry we’ll be writing for hush hush until the contest opens – but I can tell you it is one that you’ve likely heard of, and that is PERFECT for the holidays. And the ministry uses the largest public relations firm exclusively representing Christian organizations: The DeMoss Group, who will likely be judging the contest.  This COULD be a huge foot in the door for writers, as it could lead to connections to any of their clients, including the one sponsoring this blog contest. Feel free to check out The DeMoss Group to see who their clients include. (and if you want, try to guess which ministry will be featured!)

This could be a great opportunity for exposure and potential writing opportunities. Could God be providing already in response to FaithWriters promoting Christ centered ministries through these blog contests, and keeping Christ first? (Matthew 6:33)

Stay tuned here on the blog and at the blog contest forum for more details soon! And think holidays 🙂

And speaking of holidays – we’re trying to gauge interest/time availability regarding holding a blog contest in December. Could you pop over to this post on the boards and vote in the poll so we have an idea of whether we should wait until January?
