Last week, we went over the workshop descriptions. What do you think? Any sound good to you? If you’ll be attending the conference, which workshops did you sign up for?

Now I want to let you in on a couple of  “conference extras” that will be available to you this year. These features are so amazing! Just another way to show the amazing value of this conference! You’ll be hard pressed to find a better value for a writing conference, anywhere. For the minimal amount of money it costs to the practical, professional classes offered, to the fellowship of other Christian writers and friends…well, it speaks for itself, doesn’t it?

Anyway, here are the exciting extras added to this year’s conference itinerary. Hope you enjoy!

An Hour with David Ian and Timmy Boyle.

All those who have attended our previous conferences will know all too well that David Ian is a hard act to follow. His passion, talent, humor and heart connect in a way that few others are able to do.

This year we’re doubling the blessing and welcoming upstanding comedian, Timmy Boyle, alongside David Ian. Join these two very creative, godly men as they break the ice and get our conference underway with a laugh and a whole lot of heart.

Critiquing with Jan and Deb

You’ve heard of speed dating? Well, welcome to the world of speed critiquing as Deb and Jan sacrifice their dinner break to give your writing some very special one on one attention.

This bonus session was a hit at the 2009 conference, with valuable insight and critique sheets to take home. Don’t miss out in 2010. Spaces are limited and appointments are essential! See your registration form to reserve your place.

Pitch Your Manuscript to Linda Glaz

Linda Glaz is an editorial agent for Terry Burns of the Hartline Literary Agency, and she’ll be acting on Terry’s behalf this weekend to receive your pitches. Hartline handles fiction and non-fiction for both the inspirational and mainstream markets. Terry Burns does not handle sci-fi, fantasy or children’s books.

Linda will be looking for a unique story with a unique voice that would be highly sellable in this current tight market — and you may just have what they’re looking for.

Please see the Hartline Literary Agency Brochure which is available for download from the Conference main page or visit Hartline Literary Agency online for their submission guidelines.

See what I mean? Totally exciting stuff! To register for the conference (to be held in Livonia, Michigan on August 13 & 14), visit the OFFICIAL CONFERENCE PAGE.
