The LORD allowed me to look at the life of JOB. It is amazing how JOB lost his children, all of his substance, his health and then his friends were telling him to repent for some wrong that he did not do for all this to come upon him. On top of it all, his wife told him to just curse his God and die.
Can you imagine, this was JOB..... the greatest man in all the East. The man that feared God and eshewed ( avoided ) evil. The JOB that when his daughters would go and eat and drink at their brothers house, he would yet still "sanctify" them and "offer sacrifice" for each one of them, just in case they cursed GOD in their hearts.
My God, JOB was a good man, but it was a time of testing. Job, in the 42nd chapter and verse 10 states that the LORD turned Jobs captivity when he prayed for his friends and then the LORD blessed him to have exactly twice the substance he had in the beginning. Then HE also gave him 10 more children to replace the ones that were killed when the house fell on them and killed them.
The point I want to make is that JOB was faithful to GOD....REGARDLESS OF THE CIRCUMSTANCES!
If he was sick in his body, he never cursed GOD.
if his friends falsely accused him of sinning, he never cursed GOD.
If all of his children died, he never cursed GOD.
If all of his substance ( livestock ) was stolen, he yet still never cursed GOD.
When his wife had the nerve to say to him to curse his GOD and die, He responded that she sounded like a foolish woman!
JOB stood strong during the test and received the reward of "Double for the Trouble".
The LORD would have me to say unto you that what you are going through is ONLY A TEST!
HE IS READY TO GIVE YOU "DOUBLE FOR THE TROUBLE", but you must pass the test.
The trial is to make you and not break you. The trial is difficult, but God, who knows the end from the beginning, is ready to bless you abundantly! Hold out! Dont give in, because the LORD is gonna do it!

Very good srticle on Job's faithfulness to God. His faith was very strong. I can only hope that if I were to be put in his circumstances, I could be as faithful as he. But deep down, I know I could not. It is a good goal to strive for, though! Thanks for sharing. This is very well written. In Christ's Love,
Julia
