MR TOM'S CATCH
Mr. Tom had just spent his last penny to buy his evening meal. He was about to start eating when his door bell rang, he left his food and went to answer the door.
When he got to the door, it was the mail man; he collected his mail and went back to his meal. His house is usually dirty and disorganised, so by the time he got back to the table a rat was almost through with feasting on his meal.
Unfortunately for the rat, Mr. Tom was able to catch it before it could escape. As he held the small animal, it was fragile and he felt pity for it. Though it was a foolish thing to do, Mr. Tom opened the window of his kitchen and let the rat go instead of killing it and getting rid of all other members of its family still present in his kitchen.
Is there anyone that has hurt you so much? Why not forgive the person? Even if it seems foolish to forgive people that have hurt you, you should still forgive because it is an instruction from God. We should forgive so as to also be forgiven (Mark 11: 25; Matthew 6: 12). When we find it difficult to, we should ask for God's grace because his grace is sufficient for us.
We shouldn't only forgive, we should also forget.
