Communication
1)People who spend most of their time in church, but when they cross paths with a real down and outer, they turn their backs on them.
2)Employers who take extensive, expensive vacations several times a year, yet won't give their employees a raise as they double and sometimes triple the employee's workload. They claim lack of money as the reason. Say, I want to work an extra 15 minutes per day, at $7.00 an hour, five days a week. At week's end, this amounts to a grand total of $8.75! Before taxes!
"Too much money," the employer says. "Now I'm off to California and England for a few months. See ya!"
3)Cigarette packs with little leaflets attached to them, informing people about how to quit smoking. Are they covering all the bases? Or talking out of both sides of their mouths? Not the packs--the manufacturer's of the product, I mean, of course.
4)Liars and lying--'nough said. Is there ever a good reason for this?
5)Women attacking other women to steal their babies. Women killing other women. Killing in general. Violence. Ugh!
6)Millions of dollars being wasted to obtain photos of celebrity couples' babies. I can think of a billion better ways to use millions of dollars.
7)Mini cows! Mini. Cow. Kind of seems---weird.
But they're really cute animals anyway.
8)Churches as entertainment. Apparently, God alone is no longer enough. We have to be entertained in order to attend.
9)Countless hours and pages of newsprint spent trying to figure out who is gay and who is not. Who cares?
10)Church members who volunteer in soup kitchens but will not take their children with them because they don't want the kids to associate with 'those kinds of people'.
11)Drug dealers. Did you know that a lot of them won't touch the drugs they sell? It's just a job to them, a way to make a living. Meanwhile millions fall victim and their lives are forever ruined, but Mr. Drug Dealer has become a rich, rich man.
12)Mean, rude, and selfish people. People who don't know how to even say hello or goodbye.
13)People who think they have all the time in the world to decide about Jesus. To accept Him or not. Hopefully, these people will have all the time they want, all the time they need, on this, but since God is the only one who knows the number of our days, um--.
I can only say Hmmmm...to these things, and so many more. What makes you say Hmmmm....?
