Marriage
Every husband’s dream is to have a special place in his wife’s heart
Every wife’s dream is for her husband to have that special place in her heart.
But history has shown us too many failures. Men have been trying so hard to be the perfect husband, that they missed out on truly finding that special place in their wives’ hearts.
If you were to ask me what I would prefer for the husband, who is my brother in Christ:
The perfect husband Or A good dad, for God’s children..........................................
I would choose; “A good dad, for God’s children”
I will give you these reasons.
First of all because I love Jesus and am learning to put my own needs aside for my Lord and Savior. I am letting Christ take care of my needs, so that I can help Him more with the needs of others.
Second of all, because that is how every woman was designed and created to be, from the very beginning. Every woman is a daughter of Eve, who was created as the mother of all living. Women were created to be good mothers. Good mothers want what is best for their children. Women were also told that they would be saved through childbearing.
Third of all, no woman needs a perfect father or husband for herself, because she already has the perfect Father/ Husband. God is our perfect and only Father and Christ is our perfect Husband.
A wife’s heart was designed to be won over by a man who will raise God’s children in the way that they should go. A man that will lovingly and patiently guide children into God’s kingdom. This means that the children don’t even have to be from that marriage. You don’t have to be parents of children, to train God’s children in the way that they should go.
Romans 8:28 And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose.
Genesis 1:27 So God created man in his own image,
in the image of God he created him; male and female he created them. 28 God blessed them and said to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number; fill the earth and subdue it. Rule over the fish of the sea and the birds of the air and over every living creature that moves on the ground."
Genesis 3:20 And Adam called his wife’s name Eve, because she was the mother of all living.
Genesis 9:1 Then God blessed Noah and his sons, saying to them, "Be fruitful and increase in number and fill the earth.
1 Timothy 2:15 But women will be saved through childbearing—if they continue in faith, love and holiness with propriety
Matthew 23:9And do not call anyone on earth 'father,' for you have one Father, and he is in heaven.
2 Corinthians 11:1I hope you will put up with a little of my foolishness; but you are already doing that. 2I am jealous for you with a godly jealousy. I promised you to one husband, to Christ, so that I might present you as a pure virgin to him. 3But I am afraid that just as Eve was deceived by the serpent's cunning, your minds may somehow be led astray from your sincere and pure devotion to Christ. 4For if someone comes to you and preaches a Jesus other than the Jesus we preached, or if you receive a different spirit from the one you received, or a different gospel from the one you accepted, you put up with it easily enough.
Isaiah 54:5 For your Maker is your husband—
the LORD Almighty is his name—
the Holy One of Israel is your Redeemer;
he is called the God of all the earth.
6 The LORD will call you back
as if you were a wife deserted and distressed in spirit—
a wife who married young,
only to be rejected," says your God.
7 "For a brief moment I abandoned you,
but with deep compassion I will bring you back.
Genesis 3:16 To the woman he said,
"I will greatly increase your pains in childbearing;
with pain you will give birth to children.
Your desire will be for your husband,
and he will rule over you."
Ephesians 5:31 “For this reason a man shall leave his father and mother and be joined to his wife, and the two shall become one flesh.”32 This is a great mystery, but I speak concerning Christ and the church.
