Children
The man who never died.
Precious Pearls,
Today, we are going to learn more about a man who never died. Some of you would have by now guessed as to who this person is.
He is a servant of God who boldly told what the Lord spoke to him.
He was not afraid of the ruling kings and queens but obeyed only the voice of God.
He hid near the brook called Cherith and the Almighty God fed him everyday.
He never believed in the river or the ravens for his food but he looked to the Lord, the Creator for his daily food.
God made arrangements for him to be fed by a widow who lived in a place called Zarephath during the famine.
God performed a mighty miracle and also brought back to life the son of that widow in whose house he stayed.
He prayed to the Almighty God and brought down fire from heaven. At his words, the Lord shut down and also opened the windows of the sky.
He climbed the steps to heaven.
Yes, Elijah never died but God took him to heaven.
Dear children, if you would like to be like Elijah, commit everything you do into the hands of the Lord and He will make you a wonderful character.
