Marriage
I was thinking of a different craft to learn for the next time we gather to have another craft night, and I thought of one that would be simple and fun to do, it would be pretty enough to take home, and take just long enough to fill the time we have just right.
What gave me the inspiration was thinking of you, and how to have our memories right there in plain view.
So I’d take a plain glass for my picture frame, and mark off a space in the center - the picture part, and all around the edges would go bits of mirror and glass, as reminders of the memories that I hold in my heart.
The first thing to do is put the picture in, fasten it tight, then gather all the memories before they take flight, and put each one into a bit of glass, as a reminder of a memory hidden, but not out of sight.
I'd put lots of pieces of mirror all around the edge, so the would catch and reflect back to me the light, and each bit of light would remind me of our love, and the many shining moments that say 'I love you.'
There would be bits of blue to remind me of how just seeing you makes my heart soar to the sky, and silver ones to remind me that it was you that taught it to fly.
There'd be other pieces in all the colors I could find, for all the wonderful things about you coming to mind; green and purple, gold, and rose of every shade and hue, all reminders of all the moment of joy I have with you.
I'd fill up all the space around my frame, a colorful mosaic of my memories of you, and when I look at your picture in the center of it all, I'd be wrapped up in the beauty of all my thoughts of our love so true.
When that frame was full, I would hang it up on the wall, shining bright with this collection of reminders of you; then I could start another, fill it up around the edges again, for there are no end to our loving moments that I want to keep fresh and new.
Each day is so full of the joys and delight, that I could have a gallery of frames stretching out of sight - every one glowing with the soft and gentle light of love, lovely reminders that you are my gift from above.
I thank God each morning and night that He has blessed me so richly, set my heart alight; that all my dreams and wishes have come true, and I see them all every time I look at you.
