About eight years ago, my wife and I had the opportunity to take our kids to Disney World in Orlando, Florida. My wife and I enjoyed watching our two children have a great time. One particular attraction that we went to was Mickey's House. People dressed in costumes of Disney cartoon characters, sang and danced in the show. When the show was over, you could go into Mickey Mouse's dressing room and get his autograph. So we stood in line so that we could meet Mickey. In front of us was this family that wasn't american. They could have been mexican. But one thing I know was that the whole family, including mom and dad were anxious to meet Mickey. When it came their turn you would have thought that they were meeting The President of the United States. They were so happy to meet Mickey that the dad offered to give Mickey money. Which Mickey's female helper told the dad, that Mickey wasn't allowed to take money. As I watched that family and how thrilled they were to meet an imaginary character, my mind was thinking about someone else that I wanted to meet. I wanted to meet Jesus as much as that family wanted to meet Mickey. I wanted to meet the One who died for me! The One who saved me by his Grace. Sometimes I get so homesick to see Him. But I know that I shall meet Him! If HE will let me I want to give Him a kiss on His cheek and bow down at His feet and praise Him! How about you my fellow members? Do you get homesick to see Jesus too?
