Poetry
You little old man now stooped and worn
Your balding head your shriveled form
Now bending over manuscript
Your work by oil lamp dimly lit
Your darkened eyes must strain to see
Your heart you give with pen and ink
Your dusty sandals testify
The miles you've come but as to why
Your life bears out just why you've given
Your crown, your prize, your hope is heaven
Your cloak is hanging by the door
But you aren't leaving anymore
To tread a world not worthy of
Unspeakable unearthly love
There are some who've gone before
Peter and James brother of our Lord
Can you still hear Stephen's prayer
And do you long to meet him there
Now as the evening shadows grow
A cross form falls upon the floor
You rise almost as if you hear
The executioner drawing near
This is the hour to which you've come
You little old man now stooped and worn

I can't figure out which saint you are talking about but I like the poem.
Beautiful images of, I'm assuming the apostle Paul...I read it several times because it just flows.
