GODS HAND
I never knew how significant God could be in my life until the day I got saved by receiving Jesus Christ as my Savior and repenting for my sins. Before getting saved I lived a very carefree lifestyle. I knew deep inside that God existed but prayed mostly when I needed Him for help. I treated God like a fire extinguisher that was always there in times of need. I knew this all had to change since I had to bury my old self and start a new life.
Being a Christian doesn’t mean that life is more uncomplicated for you. In fact, it is tougher since Gods enemies are now your foes too. Spiritual warfare is your daily battle since sin is present in our daily lives. We are all sinners by nature but by being Christian, God is molding us to be more Christ-like like him.
I have witnessed Gods hand in many episodes of my life. Most of the times were during hardship. We can’t deny that adversities draw us closer to God. It is not unreasonable to say that during our trials and tribulations, prayers seem to be our only hope and solution. Prayer seems to be the best magnitude towards God.
I’ve often questioned God why I had such complex experiences, but ended up thanking Him because of the lessons I learned from them.It is in those difficult moments that God is working on us to be more dependent on Him. It is during these situations that we experience Gods hand. He delivers us from all danger and pain as we choose to hold his hand.
God knows and sees that if we experience all sunshine, we will not need Him. However by His never-ending and fulfilling grace, He will shower us with blessings in accordance with His will.
In every triumph and storm God is present. He feels your pain too. He sent His only son Jesus Christ our Savior to die in the cross for us. God lost His only son because He loved us so much. He is merciful and Almighty and nothing and no one could separate us from His love. Our link to God is thru Jesus Christ.
When the storm hits you the substantial way is to keep your focus on Jesus, for storms do not last. It is quite humble to have a servant attitude by serving the Lord with all your mind and heart. We are here for a purpose to glorify God and to love one another. It is very simply said but hardly kept.
Being a Christian has changed my outlook in life. I have learned to be more dependent on God. Every decision that needs to be made is first consulted by prayer. God left His only word, The Holy Bible for us to read and grow each day with Him. Our daily needs are nurtured by the promises He has left for His children.
When at times situations do not make sense, I result to prayer and counseling from the Lord. God will never send us a cross that we can not carry and He wants us to release our burdens upon Him. As a child we should submit to our Father and pray about everything. God hears our cries and He is the only medicine for our soul.
There are a lot of twists and turns in this earthly journey we are in but remember, we are only stewards here and till eternity shall we reunite with our Creator and Father in heaven.
God is waiting for His children to come home and be with Him. In heaven, we shall have rest and have peace. Heaven is pure, perfect and absolute. Live according to Gods will and learn to accept things that we can not change. God is in control of everything. If we take things in our own hands, it will never be the way God planned our life to be.
God has a master plan on how our lives are going to be, who we shall marry and what career we choose to take etc. etc. He has special plans for all of us.
However, if we feel that God has not answered our prayers,it is because our prayer is not according to His will. He has a better answer in His own perfect timing. After all, God is the author of our lives. Faith keeps our eyes on Him and obedience makes us closer to Him, while love binds and unites us with Him.
God sends the Holy Spirit to guide us in our daily needs and endeavors and if we continue to fall into sin, His everlasting grace protects us and brings us back to His arms. God is the Beginning and the End, we shall all be gone but His word will still remain.
Each day is a blessing and I thank God for continuing to touch me with His hand and for loving me for what I am, though I’m not worthy of Him. I also thank Him for the gift of salvation and that I am special because of Him.
Gods hand is always there for His children. We must seek Him and invite Jesus to come into our lives. Salvation is a gift that anyone can receive if you choose to have Jesus as your personal Savior and repent for your sins now. It is the best decision I have ever made and it has no cost. It’s free.
