“Run the Race" - Agon is a Classical Greek ἀγών is an ancient Greek term for a struggle or contest or Race.
As a believer of Christ who are strong in their faith are the ones who feel pain, accept it, learn from it, and work through it, we need to run the race to contest.
They turn their wounds into wisdom from God above.
GOD gives us the courage to surrender, pray from our heart, draw ourselves near to him, to shed a tear, to dust ourself off, means just like christ did for us.
Romans 15:3 For even Christ pleased not himself; but, as it is written, The reproaches of them that reproached thee fell on me.
Scriptures also say that Hebrews 12:4 “Ye have not yet resisted unto blood, striving against sin."
He wants us to go into the ring and fight like that we have never fought before.
Apostle Paul tells 1 Corinthian 9:26 I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air:
He says do not run uncertainly without definite aim but fight with an aim and get the Prize, not without a clear goal in sight.
But fight like a boxer in the ring, not like someone who is shadowboxing.
Again he says that in a race everybody runs to compete the race but there is only one winner, who gets the Prize so run like an athlete and fight like a boxer in the ring of this wicked world to defend and defeat the evil forces which are bothering you and creating hindrance in the way to reach that goal or aim.
Without God in our lives is like a dried well, where nobody comes to pitch the water.
We might not have the kind of strength or the courage or wisdom to handle our situations or trials and tribulations in our life.
But the God news is that God will never put us through any situation that we can't handle.
God helps us when life throws these curve balls at us and one thing gets stacked on top of another thing and on top of another until we feel that we are burdened under the weight of pressure, anxiety and stress?
The word of God says the meditation on the word of God brings success in our lives.
Joshua 1:8 This book of the law shall not depart out of thy mouth; but thou shalt meditate therein day and night, that thou mayest observe to do according to all that is written therein: for then thou shalt make thy way prosperous, and then thou shalt have good success.
But people want worldly success, not spiritual success.
Since we are surrounded by such a great cloud of witnesses, let us throw off everything that hinders and the sin that so easily entangles.
The Word of God Gives us strength as scriptures says in Joshua 1:9 Have, not I, commanded thee? Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the LORD thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.
God is our provider, and he will always give us what we need to accomplish.
what He wants us to do as per his will.
Scripture says in 1 Corinthian 10:13 There hath no temptation taken you but such as is common to man: but God is faithful, who will not suffer you to be tempted above that ye are able; but will with the temptation also make a way to escape, that ye may be able to bear it.
And let us run with perseverance the race marked out for us, We need to put our eyes on Christ, where he sits and also tells us that, Revelation 3:21 To him that overcometh will I grant to sit with me in my throne, even as I also overcame, and am set down with my Father in his throne.
Remember one thing when you start walking as per God's will People might say to you, “When you come to work, leave your spirituality at home. Don’t bother us with your peculiar lifestyle, your ethics, search for meaning.
That’s all nice, but this is business. This is the real world.”the world which belongs to Satan and his evil forces.
There is only one real world, and it belongs to one real God Yahweh.
Ephesians 6:10-20
Have we truly meditated and chewed the fullness of that passage? Or does it just sound cool to put on Gods Armour?
The word of God enjoins us to “be wholehearted with the Christ our lord and God.”it Ultimately connects us to God through meditating on His words and his greatness, his teaching and learning through His Holy word and adding in The precepts and commandments commanded by God, is “true and tried remedy.”
To protect us from all kind of evil forces and made us Stronger to Fight and victorious and get the prize of sitting next to Christ as he said in (revelation 3:21).
In Isaiah 28:10 were told that line upon the line and precept upon the precept here a little there a little, In essence we must diligently dig into the scriptures daily a lil OT a little NT following the instruction of the Holy Spirit as we read, diligently praying as we increase what we read of Gods word it increases our faith. As it is written that It is impossible to please God without faith (Hebrew 11:6).
Faith cometh by hearing and hearing by the word of God,(Romans 10:17).
Its more about a love intimate relationship with the Father, with the Son and with the Holy Ghost, than it is about salvation.
Yes, salvation is great, but why? If we don't have love for God and have love for our neighbor.
Because there is a difference in our speaking and implementing.
People are more interested and busy in their social and worldly lifestyle.
This is only possible when people will come out of their wells, people are more busy in worldly relationships rather making relationships with God.
They spent most of their time usually in debating and pointing fingers to others, they justify themselves that they are more religious than you and me or others.
They are far behind from the wisdom and knowledge of God.
"He that hideth hatred with lying lips, and he that uttereth a slander, is a fool."(Proverbs 10:18)".
The bible says about Foolishness of God is wiser than men.
1 Corinthian 1:25 Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men and the weakness of God is stronger than men.
We cant control the actions of others, we can only lresent the truth and pray over it that the Holy Spirit will water it and the seeds of truth we plant will then be made fruitful.
Gods promise for his people who don't want earthly possession but seeking his wisdom and knowledge, if we read 2 Chronicles:11-12 “Since this is your heart’s desire and you have not asked for wealth, possessions or honor, nor for the death of your enemies, and since you have not asked for a long life but for wisdom and knowledge to govern my people over whom I have made you king, therefore wisdom and knowledge will be given you,And I will also give you wealth, possessions and honor, such as no king who was before you ever had and none after you will have.”
Thus the keynote of Ephesians 6:10-20 being verse 20 in that we are Christ ambassadors.
There are different levels of Access and privileges into His Presence & Power; depending on your Hunger, Desire, relationship.
