Prayer Line Agenda for November 13,2017.
1) Greet Everyone
2) Say an Opening Prayer.
3) Bible passage.
1 John 2:14-I have written to you, children, because you have come to know the Father. I have written to you, fathers, because you have come to know the One who is from the beginning. I have written to you, young men, because you are strong, God's word remains in you, and you have had victory over the evil one.
1)Let us pray not to be distracted in church by social media and other devices, but to pay attention so we can hear and heed the voice of the Lord.
Colossians 3:2-Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth.
2) Let us pray to always read our scriptures and seek the face of God. To do our devotions and make sure to make God first.
Joshua 1:8 “This book of the law shall not depart from your mouth, but you shall meditate on it day and night, so that you may be careful to do according to all that is written in it; for then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have success.
3) Let us pray not to talk about others behind their back, but to lift them up in prayer to God.
“And besides they learn to be idle, wandering about from house to house, and not only idle but also gossips and busybodies, saying things which they ought not” (1 Timothy 5:13).
4) Let us pray to always look for and hear the voice of the Lord.
1 Samuel 3:8-10- Then Eli realized that the Lord was calling the boy. So Eli told Samuel, “Go and lie down, and if he calls you, say, ‘Speak, Lord, for your servant is listening.’” So Samuel went and lay down in his place. The Lord came and stood there, calling as at the other times, “Samuel! Samuel!”Then Samuel said, “Speak, for your servant is listening.”
5) Let us pray for the Holy Spirit to actively move upon our lives.
1 Samuel 16:13- So Samuel took the horn of oil and anointed him in the presence of his brothers, and from that day on the Spirit of the Lord came powerfully upon David. Samuel then went to Ramah.
6) Let us pray for us to realize the calling of God in our careers and in our daily lives.
Acts 2:17- And it will be in the last days, says God, that I will pour out My Spirit on all humanity; then your sons and your daughters will prophesy, your young men will see visions, and your old men will dream dreams.
7) Let us pray not to give in to peer pressure, but to set our eyes on Jesus.
Romans 12:2-And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect.
8) Let us pray that, even when we are away, we will still remember the Lord our God.
Deutoronomy 4:9- "Only give heed to yourself and keep your soul diligently, so that you do not forget the things which your eyes have seen and they do not depart from your heart all the days of your life; but make them known to your sons and your grandsons
9) Let us pray for our families, that we may truly love God and each other more.
Colossians 1:9-For this reason also, since the day we heard of it, we have not ceased to pray for you and to ask that you may be filled with the knowledge of His will in all spiritual wisdom and understanding,
10) Let us pray that they would be protected from the tricks of the devil.
Psalms 138:7-Though I walk in the midst of trouble, you preserve my life; you stretch out your hand against the wrath of my enemies, and your right hand delivers me.
11) Finally, Let us pray that we grow in the knowledge of God and his truths found in the Bible.
Romans 15:4-For whatever was written in former days was written for our instruction, that through endurance and through the encouragement of the Scriptures we might have hope.
