Prophecy
Today, we remember our departed loved ones. It is exactly seven years since they fell asleep. We may not know when resurrection morning shall break forth, but we can be certain it is soon - very soon! One thing I know (beyond a shadow of a doubt), seven thousand years from the creation of Adam and Eve, the saints shall be gathered together with the angels, for it is necessary that we spend the Sabbath of Sabbaths with the LORD of the Sabbath.
The harbingers are all pointing to the nearness and certainty of the greatest inauguration of the ages. If men can faithfully observe the ceremony for 228 years, how much more shall the "Ancient of Days" fulfill His promise? Is anything too hard for Yahuwah? I write plainly, so that whosoever readeth may understand. We are all without excuse, as what was hidden has been made manifest.
We are a privileged generation, literally surrounded by information and opportunities to improve our knowledge (true knowledge that leads to eternal life). Unfortunately, we do not always exploit these advantages. So much light has been given, but so little has been received. Perhaps when darkness has covered the earth and thick darkness the peoples, then we shall appreciate the wasted privileges. Does a messenger run unless he has a message? And what good is a message, if it should fall upon deaf ears?
This was a follow-up on the message detailed below, which I posted on Facebook exactly four years ago:
Reflections: Today brings back a flood of bittersweet memories - bitter because of the pain of loss. Sweet because of the precious times and words we shared with our departed loved ones. Now, who can say you can ever get used to pain and sorrow? There’s no shame in shedding tears. On the contrary, it is absolutely essential that we let out our emotions, for it is a necessary part of the healing process. Three years ago, today, I had no idea how I would face the future or if the pain would subside. There’s tremendous comfort in the promise of eternal life for those who believe. Without faith in Jesus Christ I don’t know what hope or comfort I would find and whence it would come. Apart from Him, nothing makes sense and there is neither meaning nor purpose. But from the Saviour we draw strength and peace such as the world cannot supply or yet understand.
Those who are acquainted with farming understand that not all seed cast into the ground will germinate and not all seed that germinates will yield a bountiful harvest. The fundamental difference is whether the seed is viable or not (all factors held constant). So it shall be on resurrection morning. What is sown to the Spirit shall redound to an eternal harvest and what is sown to the flesh shall suffer eternal loss. Moreover, the ‘good seed’ shall regenerate, grow and reach harvest all at once, by the power of the Immortal God (who is not limited by natural law). Therefore I say to all who share this hope, “weeping may tarry for the night, but joy comes in the morning.” When that glorious and blessed day comes, we shall forget all our sorrows “when this mortal shall put on immortality.”
Death is therefore not the end, but rather a transition or shedding of the corruptible shell (which is our earthly body) and a transformation into the celestial and incorruptible vessel we shall inherit. It shall not be much longer now.
