STOP THE HATE
freelance writer Lupie Riley
Could the recent killing of the two black men in Minnesota and Minneapolis and the five white policemen in Dallas been avoided with the proper training of Police officers? The answer is Yes.
First of all the videos clearly revealed the officers used unnecessary force on the perpetuators which ended up with the death of these two black men and five other innocent lives. Those officers involved should have been quickly prosecuted for aggravated murder and sentenced instead of the system letting them go with a light reprimand. After the public viewing on the news of the actual incident over and over again it ignited a hatred for white Police officers throughout the country. All it took is for a radical, mentally unstable person to go on the rampage and through his hate for white officers five more innocent people lost their lives.
Second the Police Academy's need to vent their candidates allot closer for any problems with anger or racism. Those people should not be considered for the academy. They can also look into communities that have cut down on crime by using a different technique in handled volatile situations and who work within the community to improve their image as a protector of the people.
The core of all violence and racism is hate. Statistics show that 40% of those killed by Police were black but that leaves 60% that weren't. The recent up rise of 'Black lives matter" is only fostering hate for the white race and causing more deaths throughout the country. I agree that Justice has to prevail but not by the killing of more innocent people.
How can the mind of a racist change from hate to understanding and tolerance? This change begins in the heart and mind of mankind. As long as we humans deny the existence of a spiritual entity called the Devil this change can never happen. This entity with his hordes of demonic spirits is the instigator of all hate related deaths, war's and destruction. His purpose is to mane, kill and destroy as many as he can through hate.
The opposite of hate is love. It allows mankind to be tolerant towards those of a different color, gender or personality. The author of love is none other then our Creator and Savior Jesus Christ (read Colossians) who set down the moral standards for us to live by. He's our Savior because he took it upon himself to become like his created so we humans could be freed up from the bondage of hate and addictions that take over the control our lives. Jesus paid the price for us that allows us to be free from these destructive emotions and addictions when we understand what He's done for us and invite him in to be a part of our lives. We then have his power to love unconditionally. We will also recognize Him as the coming King that will turn the world around and bring 'true' peace to a people that is on the path of total destruction. What do we gain through hate, wars, killings but just a pile of rubble, ashes and blood soaked streets. Which will you choose today to continue in hate or allow the author of Love to change your mind and heart?
God Bless America !
