If I Change
I am God and I will not share my glory with anyone. I cannot share my glory with another. Then I would no longer be God. If I changed to become what man, my creation wants me to be, then I would no longer be the God who doesn’t change. I would become like man … double-minded and unsure of what is right.
If I gave up my glory to share it with man, as man wants me to, then I would become second to man. Then I would have abdicated my throne to my own creation. And although man does not understand, or the natural mind of man cannot grasp it … then there would be total chaos and confusion. If I change ….
If I gave up my position, the earth would return to what it was before I brought order to it for man to inhabit. There would be darkness and confusion. Then all the stars and the planets – the sun and the moon would crumble and fall. There would be nothing to keep them in place or to keep the waters within their boundaries. Without the order that I have brought into being, man, the glory of my creation on earth, would self -destruct. If I change…
It is the constancy of my word that keeps the worlds in place. It is the power of my unchanging word that gives order to life, and maintains the seasons of life.
If I change I would become more vile and evil than man himself because I possess all the knowledge and wisdom that have existed over the ages. I alone possess all the depths of wisdom to understand and perceive the destruction that would result in all of creation, if I, in whom all things dwell and exist, rescinded my power, authority and glory to man.
I own man and all that I have brought into being. And I don’t have a struggle with man, but man has a struggle with me because he cannot get me to bend to his own desires and whim and fancy. But he doesn’t understand the outcome… if I change.
I can, and I have given man leeway to exercise his mind and his muscles – to try to all extent to find himself, and to know himself. I have tried to answer his questions. I have given him authority over my creation. I have opened my heart to him to let him understand what is of lasting value and worth. I have humbled myself to show to him what is good and right and acceptable. To make him know the things that will make him prosper and be fulfilled. … But still man murmurs, and complains and criticizes me.
I have forgiven him day after day, from age to age. I have shown him mercy and grace in his rebellion against me, and I have kept pursuing him for his own good. At times, he seems to relent, and listen to my voice, but then he devises his own plan in his heart by which he will come to me. He will not pursue me with all his heart – with a pure heart, to learn my ways. He wants me to alter my standards – to become unholy and splintered within myself – thus allowing the Evil One to reign.
He refuses to seek to know me as I am, and not as he wants me to be – so he ends up making images of me, or makes a religion of me to try to get as much as he can out of me to make his life prosperous and successful. But me, he doesn’t care about. He acknowledges me when I can be of service to him, or when I can benefit him.
I cannot change my kingdom to embrace the self-seeking and devious. I cannot change to give up the holiness of my kingdom to please man, even though I love him. Then would unbridled evil reign – which the mind cannot conceive of.
Don’t they see what self seeking actions have done, even in the lives of those who loved me? My friend, Abraham, lied about his wife, Sarah and could have destroyed an innocent people. He further perverted my plans for a child in his life, giving birth to Ishmael … and the results of his waywardness persists even up to this day, resulting in so much war and hatred, and evil. David, whom I called the man after my own heart, disobeyed my law and walked after the flesh, bringing so much pain to himself and his family.
I need man to understand that I know all of his needs. I made him and understand all the components of his life, and all that is necessary for him. I can meet all of his needs, but I cannot change… not even to please the crown of my earthly creation.
If I change, truth would become a thing of the past because I myself am truth. Truth brings stability, confidence, hope. If I change there would be nothing to believe in, nothing to hold on to – no one to turn to in distress… no hope… no love. I also embody love.
They don’t know it, but they don’t really want me to change. They would not want to live if I changed. So I, in love and wisdom will remain unchanging and unchangeable knowing that in me only can man fulfill his purpose and find real joy and happiness.
