As White As Snow! (Isaiah 1:18)
“Come now and let us reason together, says the Lord. Though your sins are (were) like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow. Though they are (were) red like crimson, they shall be as wool.” (NKJV)
Jesus is waiting for His Bride, and He has designed for her a beautiful robe of spotless white linen with all the wrinkles ironed out! The robe gets whiter and brighter as we walk towards the altar where our glorious and dazzling Bridegroom awaits with His arms outstretched. His eyes are filled with the purest love, as He draws His Bride to Himself, His love cleansing and covering her, His smile filling her with joy. She places her hand in His and is swept into a realm of eternal pleasure, as she steps into the passion of His beating heart!
The Lord says to us from His Word today: “Come now”. It is a matter of urgency, and He is calling for our immediate attention. These words were given to the Old Testament prophet Isaiah for the people of Israel when the Lord was calling them out of their lives of sin and into His marvelous light. For us today, it is a word of assurance, healing and restoration as He calls us to walk in the reality of what the Blood of Jesus has already done.
There are many believers who live with a sense of guilt and condemnation, even though they have been fully forgiven. In some or all areas of their lives, they may feel unworthy to receive the love of God or His wonderful gift of grace. This could be because there are areas of defeat in our lives, but it could also be the lie of the enemy which is intended to keep us from walking in the freedom and the joy of the Lord. The Lord Jesus says to you “Come, let us reason together. Listen to Me and believe My Words to you! You have been fully forgiven, you are fully loved. There is no one else like you in all the world. You are mine. Receive what I have done for you and know without any doubt that your sins have been wiped out and I have covered you with My love.” Proverbs 10:12 says: “Love covers over a multitude of sins.” This is what the love of God has done for you and me, through the cleansing blood of Jesus. His crimson blood has washed away the scarlet stains of sin. He has covered us with His own righteousness. He has made us as the purest driven snow, and as the whitest wool, hallelujah!
Dear friend, can you receive the Word of the Lord into your heart today? Can you believe that you have been chosen and called with a purpose, and that the love of God has covered you with His holiness? The blood of Jesus speaks a Word over your life today. It says “Forgiven, healed and free”! You are (already) the righteousness of God in Christ and a new creation. The “old” has gone, and the “new” is who you are! Today I declare the truth of God’s righteousness over you, in the mighty name of Jesus. May every lie of the enemy be broken off your mind and your heart. Rise up and be filled with the revelation of who you are in Jesus Christ – a blessed and beautiful reflection of Him. Your sins were as scarlet but Jesus has washed you as white as snow. You are in Him and He is in you. All glory and honor to the Lamb of God, hallelujah!
