No Ordinary Church Girl
No Ordinary Church Girl is what God spoke to me when I asked him of some things that has happened in my life now and then. The things I have been through over the last fifteen years of my life are very different from the first forty years. The first forty years was rather sheltered and I didn’t face the things people faces in the world today. From the time that I was a child God had a shield around me. That same shield is there but I have had to fight to keep it around me. I have been in a fight for my life. Just as it takes much effort on my part to keep myself breathing, it takes just as much effort on my part to stay saved, sanctified, Holy Ghost filled and Fire Baptized.
You see I am no ordinary church girl. God has invested a lot in me and my mind, body, soul, and spirit must stay in constant contact with Him. My heart must be that one that pants after Him. I have to be more and more studious in God’s Word, keep the spirit of the mind of Christ at the forefront of my life, present my body a living sacrifice, be holy and acceptable to the Lord in lifestyle; not conformed to this world but transformed by the renewing of my mind.
This is a personal relationship that only you can have with God; it’s your reasonable service for all God has done. We have to let this mind of Christ be in us, leading, controlling and guiding us through the terrains of life. We have to prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God not being high minded or puffed up but sober in the mind. We must grow and develop in Christ.
I am no ordinary church girl and just as I had to you too must decide if you want to be justified or condemned; it’s your choice. It’s time to turn from what we have done and look unto the Lord, the author and finisher of our faith. Ordinary means the regular or customary person defined in conditions or courses of things as it relates to this world. It means I am not just a common woman but I must be allergic to everything in this world so God can use me for his glory and honor. It means I cannot be sold for the goods of this world. There is no fixed price on my salvation or the treasure God has placed in me. It also mean that I don’t live the normal means of life as man knows it but stretches out in the spiritual world and God’s order as opposed to the order set by man. It means my priorities are in a specified order set by God and I have no control over what God says unless I suffer the consequences. I surpass the rank, abilities, and quality of that set by man because I seek to please God in all of my acts.
I am no ordinary church girl because the body leaving experiences, dreams revealed as true, visions that have surely come to pass, and the intercession prayed has all been brought forth by God that gave them. For all I trust God. I believe the report of the Lord. I believe that we are not to touch God’s anointed and do his prophets no harm. I can’t allow the church to be on lockdown because of clicks, company in mess. I am no ordinary church girl.
I am the messenger rejected by the Church of the World but look at God. All praise and thanks goes to God that has brought me through much over these fifteen years. I have learned that we have to write off some things. We have to give to get, make the decision to get mad to give God your all and all for we are not our own. Make the application, fill it out completely and do finish the interview. Get the job, give all to it. Don’t go to the left or the right but walk up the highway that has been set before you and make it a sacrificial point that I am going to walk straight up the middle on that thin piece of rope in the road and keep our eyes on the Master that we don’t fall either way. Don’t go backwards!
When inquiring about my life and the way it has been the latter quarter of my life God simply replied “you are no ordinary church girl”. What does that mean? That means that I am like no other, one of a kind unlike the others, not normal, common, or usual. It means I am not mediocre, accepted, typical, or characteristic. So you see I can’t be outnumbered, exceeded, bested, overcome or beaten. This changes my scope of how I see myself. I am still in the outlined framework of God.
Aaron once said to me “all of you church girls are alike” but I beg to differ. I am an original and no one can make me be what I am not. The world frames you up according to what you do. By this I mean, I go to church so naturally I look like a church girl and am labeled as such. God is not looking for church girls or boys. He is looking for people that will be sold out strictly to Him for His use.
We are being restored for God’s exquisite use. The Lord is my strength and song, and he is become my salvation. Exodus 15:2. The smallest things can get under our skin but God is there to expel those things. He will clean our lives up so we can be strictly balanced in life. We must have balance in our lives between God and man. We were Created and made by God but we came by way of man; as we were taken out of man. The more of God we seek in our lives, the less of the flesh we desire to please. The more of man we seek after, the more of the flesh we will get. Well no ordinary church girl seeks after the things of the flesh, but the nature of God.
We must find our purpose and remain in it for it is a call to a special office. We are the first to do what God called us to do. We are the primary receiver of all the gifts He gives to us. The creativity He gives to me, no one else will have it the same or understand it like I will. I am no ordinary church girl for I am an authentic original of what God made me to be. I am genuinely me; real in my own way and actually submitted to His Will, Word, and Way for my life. I have been introduced into this world as one of His and its time to be found doing what it is He has begun in me. God is my source; He is my strength and song. I can go to Him when no one else is there.
You see I have to be different. I have to make the difference. To do this I must be a real Bible Believer. Isaiah 61:1-3 the Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because the Lord God hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the broken hearted, to proclaim liberty tot eh captives and the opening of the prison to them that are bound; to proclaim the acceptable year of the Lord, and the day of vengeance of our God; to comfort all that mourn. To appoint unto them that mourn in Zion, to give unto them beauty for ashes, the oil of joy for mourning, the garment of praise for the spirit of heaviness; that they might be called trees of righteousness, the planting of the Lord, that He may be glorified.
I am not Christ, but I am Christ like so this no ordinary church girl must do those things that please God and bring glory to Him. We must come to know God in a more significant way in our quest to become a real Bible Believer that makes us no ordinary church girl.
God calls and He sends. He calls us to continue Christ work and we are to do greater works because He came into the world and lived that we have a pattern of life to follow. He died a sinful death to redeem us from death by sin that we could do greater works than He did. God sends us to continue the work of Christ, therefore we do the work He gave Jesus to do and fulfill the promises of His coming. He called me to a special calling to the lost souls in the world. I am no ordinary church girl. We are called trees of righteousness, planted in the Lord that He might be glorified. No ordinary church girl remembers her call, purpose and reason for living and that is to bring glory to God.
Jesus came that we might have life and life more abundantly; not of the things of the world but more than that to be affluent in His Word. We are called back to His Word, His Spirit, and to bring the hope of redemption to the lost men and women in the world. We encourage man that God is God and He is our beauty; for he will beautify the meek with salvation, He is the oil of joy for mourning; he will dry all tears from your eyes and take away the pain, He is the garment of praise we must put on and wear unconditionally. You see God is no ordinary God. His Spirit rests in His garment that we wear when we accept Him as Lord.
In God’s garment is righteousness, His peace, His joy, all of which is a vital part of Heaven. Romans 14:17 tells us that the kingdom of God is joy, peace, and righteousness in the Holy Ghost. Christ is an inside job and from this we have an inside view of heaven while we still live in the earth.
God wants us to be fertile and fruitful in His works. He wants us to possess all of Him that He is magnified in every area of our lives; naturally and spiritually. God wants us to find our way back from the grave of worldliness to the throne of grace through his mercy. How do we do this? We must come in union with Christ in worship. Ephesians 6:18-20 praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit and watching thereunto with all perseverance and supplications for all saints. And for me that utterance may be given unto me that I may open my mouth boldly, to make known the mystery of the gospel; for which I am an ambassador in bonds; that therein I may speak boldly, as I ought to speak.
God builds a wall of protection, a wall of love, and a wall of substance around me and I allow the enemy or man to tear down what has been built up by God in me. It’s time for a change. Margery you are no ordinary church girl. There must be balance in our lives.
