Dear Jesus,

I have been completely overwhelmed with one problem after another, some actually spaced only minutes apart.

Some are small and comical after the fact, but maddening, like what happened last night. I vacuumed and mopped the tile floors, got into the shower and forgot my towel in the laundry room. Being alone at the moment, I climbed out of the tub, dripped water over several rooms, and pulled the cord on the overhead light which fell into my hand. I stood there flabbergasted, in the original state you created me (naked,) and called my husband who kindly checked on the broken cord. Unfortunately, his hiking boots merged with the wet spots, creating a muddy mess. The whole episode took 5 minutes.

Some are problems crawling out of the woodwork such as our cell phone company wanting verification of my employment to continue our discount. This would not be a problem except I do not work there any longer. I call them nuisance problems because they take time to solve and pop up out of nowhere.

Some are big problems like having a health problem that everyone thinks they have the answer to but the solutions are not working.

I know the enemy is clearly attacking me. I also know to ask you for protection. Then I tell you my woes (which you already know,) ask you to guide my steps, and discuss with you what I would like the outcome of the problem to be. Then most importantly, I trust you and accept that your solution may not be what I request. Your solution is according to your plan and you know ALL. Your ways are not my ways and I lean not on my own understanding. I call out your name a lot “help me Jesus.”

The best part for me is when you allow me to watch your solution because you do not always reveal your ways. I must admit, I feel so happy when you bless me with the solution I long for. It is a double blessing to “get my way” and have the security and comfort to know it is YOUR solution.

Post note: Thank you for the above problem’s solutions of husband replacing the switch and me cleaning again, switching the cell company to husband’s employment place and last medicine working better.
