An Everlasting Decision
We all make decision, Don't we? Making decision starts early in the
morning with the getting up from the bed and continue till close our
eyes at night. It is to be noted that making decision is an integral
part of our life. Pause a little while, and think if I am not correct.
Everything what we do, decision emerges its head. And we all march
forward in our day to day life in such a way.
Look at the society, parents make decision fortheir children,
Teachers for students, doctors for patients and so on, an unending
list. A list that cannot be finished. Above all we make decision for
ourselves, what to eat, what to do and with many more questions to
lead a better life. But alas! All the decisions are not fulfilled.
Some decisions bring to us bitter experience which cut deep our heart.
It takes long time to be recovered and to gain the normal life. Many
people even lost their lives because the decision taken by them. So,
be careful while you make decision.
So, we all are busy in making decisions of our life, isn't it? But
have you ever thought about life after death? Do you have any decision
regarding life after death? Have you made any decision for that? Death
will hug you suddenly. My father did not know that he would not come
again from hospital alive. It happened suddenly. Next who we don't
know.
Life is not a guaranteed thing. Bible says,"Come now, you who say,
¡°Today or tomorrow we will go to such and such a city, spend a year
there, buy and sell, and make a profit¡±; whereas you do not know what
will happen tomorrow. For what is your life? It is even a vapor that
appears for a little time and then vanishes away"(James 4:13-14).
After death we all will face judgement. "And as it is appointed for
men to die once, but after this thejudgment,"(Hebrew 9:27).
Bible says,"for all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God,"
(Romans 3:23)."For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is
eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord," (Romans 6:23). Yes the gift of
God in
more Jesus Christ is eternal life. Here the word "death"is used in
the term of hell. Because of sin people goes to Hell. But don't be
discourged. God has made a way for us."who(Jesus) Himself bore our
sins in His own body on the tree, that we, having died to sins, might
live for righteousness¡ªby whose stripes you were healed,"(1Peter 2:24).
Jesus died for us on the cross to take away our sin. It is written,
"If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our
sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness," (1John1:9). Then
friend, are you ready to make a decision of accepting Jesus as a Lord
and Saviour of your life? Just pray, "O Lord, I am sinner. Please
cleanse my sin. I accept you as my Lord and Saviour. In Lord Jesus
Christ name I pray. Amen." It is a decision that will change your
destiny. Oh! What an everlasting decision it is. Let us know about
your decision, we will pray for you.
With Love yours
