"But Israel shall be saved in the LORD with an everlasting salvation: ye shall not be ashamed nor confounded world without end." (Isaiah 45:17).
If by grace you are born again and you are sure of your salvation, you are the Isreal of today. Take a look at our text as it says 'but' this simply means that even though others are destroyed or damaged or having several bad experience Isreal can not be found amidst them. Remember that the scripture says 1000 will fall by your right and 10000 by your left, it will not touch you will only see and hear about it.
Its very important to note that our text says 'in the Lord' this shows emphasy on where the safety will come from. And because it is in the Lord the safety comes salvation that is not short lived but everlasting.
Our emphasy is 'in the Lord' which is to be in God's presence all the time and surrendering all to Him. If you are not currently doing these two things, you are not fit for what we are talking about. I am not talking about your position with God yesterday but today. God doesnt have stationary friends, He is always moving and once you miss that move, you are no longer with Him.
