Worship
I have never written a topic and it was one word before. But this morning God spoke to me one word; worship. Here I am, let’s see what God wants us to know about worship.
God wants to be born in the hearts of man; the church. The first state of worship is to let God come into our hearts and dwell. The second form of worship is in how we relate in relationship to one another. Worship is the respect shown to God only in a rather figurative sense of divinity. We are only to worship the true and living God. There is nothing in this earth that is to be esteemed higher than God. We revere things that we should not thereby making men and things idols. In worship we venerate, glorify and respect what we love. We show forth adoration, devotion, reverence and veneration
No one is deserving of our worship other than our worthy God. He is the only one excellent in grace and mercy. Only God can keep us from hurt, harm, and danger. He will wrap His loving arms around us and tell us He loves us when no one else does. He takes away all of our worries that we don’t have the anxieties the world have. We fear and reverence him so we don’t fear what man can do. We are amazed at the wondrous things only God can do. It is astonishing that the miracles we receive in life can only come from God.
We are to labor in worship. Our worship can only be accomplished by the individual themselves. Only we can open our mind, heart, soul, and spirit to God that He will pour into us and we bless Him. We annoy God with our teasing when we come before Him not uprightly. We seem to have formed a certain particular method and hardly ever want to deviate from the norm of the technique. Sometime God wants to do something and we shut Him out with our procedures. Many times we have become so skilled in worship we fail to allow the Holy Spirit to take first place in our hearts. It is the spirit of man that worships God; one that have surrendered totally to the Holy Spirit. We are tenacious in our worship yet never reaching heaven. Worship calls for sobriety and some are so drunk off of their own self-worth they can’t properly approach God because there is no true repentance of themselves that stand in the way of worship. We have to let everything go.
Soon and very soon we will realize that all things must be complete before our lives are cancelled out. We would have eliminated hell from our life; cancelling the devils\assignment to make us a resident of hell. We would have learned to have some restraints about ourselves. When we worship God we renew our minds. We give birth to strength and praise. We bring restoration to our soul. Worship is a refreshing; it wakes the Spirit up to action. The Spirit in turn enlivens us again. Worship resuscitates an aching body, a broken heart, and a sin bound soul. When we worship God revival comes and revise some things in our lives that should not be there. Worship corrects ill-will actions, sin, and contrariness on our part. It makes an improvement in our lives; for we learn to put God first and foremost ahead of what we want to do. It’s time to rewrite the book of our life and edit out everything that is not like God.
True worship is a product of obedience and righteousness. We are righteous because Christ has made us the righteousness of God. We are devout, saintly, angelic, devoted, spiritual, and holy. Not only that but we are virtuous being just, honorable in our living, exemplary in our actions, impartial to the need of others, and trustworthy. We do that which is right and proper. The true worshipper worships God in Spirit and in Truth. We bow before Him, we kneel before Him and we lay prostrate before God when we worship Him. This shows forth an inward conviction that we believe that God is the Creator and Maker of mankind. We are to worship the Lord our God and only serve Him.
God created us to worship Him. He seeks us to worship Him. We cleanse our way to perfect praise in worship when we take heed to the Word and praise the name of the Lord. God’s name alone is excellent and his glory is above the earth and heaven. We are getting drunk off of the wrong wine; the wine of self. We justify our self, hate instruction, despise reproof, and will not incline our ear to no one. Our conscience is not convicted anymore and we don’t realize it. We have lost all self-control, put up defenses to cover up our inadequacies and live in our own delusions. We think our own ways is right and everybody else is wrong. We think we are better than others because the secret we keep in our heart has not been made known yet. We can’t worship God properly though because we have peace in our sin; we are above adversity. Surely God will not punish our sin.
True worship makes us give up some things rather we want to or not. We must deny ourselves, and question rather we be in Christ or not. It’s time to do a self-check-out. Who can understand his errors and cleanse their secret faults. Worship makes us commune in our own hearts and our spirit makes a diligent search. No one have to tell me I am wrong, I know I am. Worship makes you search yourself for God already knows what is there in our hearts and He will try our hearts. The heart is deceitful above all things, and desperately wicked; who can know it? Let us search and try our ways and turn again to the Lord. Consider your ways.
It’s time we examine ourselves whether we be in the faith or not. Prove yourself, who know you better than you? Jesus Christ is in you unless you be reprobate. A reprobate denies not only God but themselves also. If a man think himself to be something when he is not who is he deceiving? Only himself! Now you can meditate and have true worship. Now you will repent for all you knew was wrong, all you didn’t know and deny all that will come. Worship has no place for selfishness. We that are strong ought to bear the infirmities of the weak and not to please ourselves. Bear one another’s burdens and so fulfill the law of Christ. Look not every man on his own thing, but every man also on the things of others. Don’t be conceited.
Worship the Lord, Love your neighbor as yourself, treat them right. Let another person praise you and not out of your own mouth boast. There is a generation that is pure in their eyes, and yet is not washed from their filthiness. But we are all as an unclean thing and all of our righteousness is as filthy rags. Worship will not allow you to stand alone but come near to Him because God is most Holier than we. God is standing and knocking saying come unto me; Worship!
